Planned and worn

Hi! So as I planned here, I was wearing culottes on Friday :) Here is what it looked like. I tried to make my outfit as close as possible to the one created with Polyvore items. Of course you can style this kind of pants in many other ways. This model of culottes is also not the only one available either, there are models looking more like a skirt, for example. It's all up to your imagination and taste! What do you think about this clothing item?

Приветик! Как я и планировала здесь, в пятницу на мне было то что у модников называется "кюлоты". По-русски мне ближе название шорты-юбка. Я постаралась сделать свой образ как можно более похожим на то что создала с колекциями Polyvore. Конечно такие брюки можно обыграть по-разному. Да и модель эта не единственная, есть шорты действительно очень похожие на юбку, к примеру. Все зависит от вашего воображения и вкуса! Что вы скажете об этом предмете одежды?

Hi there! It's Friday again. And again I'm going out and sketching my outfit with Polyvore. Today I want to wear my Mango culottes. In the set they are from Dorothy Perkins, but they look pretty similar. I'll be following the set on the right. But for those who plan a night out, the set on the left could be reference. Which one do you like more?

Привет! И снова пятница. И снова я собираюсь уходить и делаю набросок своего наряда в Polyvore. Сегодня я хочу одеть шорты-юбку от Манго. В сете они от Дороти Перкинс, но выглядят как мои. Я буду следовать сету справа. А для тех кто планирует выход на вечер, вдохновением может  послужить вариант слева. Какой вариант вам нравится больше?

Black and white

Hi there! It's not a very summerish summer here lately. Sometimes it's very hot, so hot that you feel like you're being fried alive. Other times you can hardly keep yourself from opening that suitcase of winter clothes you have just put away. So here is one of the colder days.

Both the sweater and the pants were probably 2 of my most doubtful purchases. I bought the sweater in Mango, mostly in spite of how it looked. It's short, it's large, it's square... But, oh my god, have I fallen in love with it later. Now it's just as that song goes - I'm only happy when it rains - cos that's when I can wear this pretty much universal sweater.

The pants - well, I just wanted a bald print on my pants. And H&M was offering these for only 10 euros. I said, what the hell - if I don't like them, I put them in the dower chest and forget about them. Given the price, it was not a big deal at all... But, time showed that, just like the sweater, these pants are one of my favorites in summer.

Привет! Лето не летнее какое-то. Иногда очень жарко, так жарко что кажется ты рыба и тебя жарят. Иногда руки так и тянутся к чемодану в котором сложены зимние вещи. И вот один из прохладных дней.

И свитер и брюки были наверное мои самые сомнительные покупки. Свитер я купила в Mango, скорее несмотря на то как он смотрелся. Он короткий, широкий, квадратный... Но позже я реально в него влюбилась. Теперь я его ношу каждый раз как позволяет погода.

Брюки я хотела со смелым принтом. А в H&M они были за смешные 10 евро. Я решила - если не понравятся, я их спрячу по-дальше и забуду про них. При такой-то цене... Но время показало, что, как и свитер, эти брюки стали фаворитами моего летнего гардероба.

1 item 3 outfits

Hi all! So after I have reached the threshold of 20 posts, I am keen on finding new things to display and discuss here (in addition to live outfits, of course). I already have some early posts in this blog with different sets from Polyvore and some about cooking or about "instagrammed" moments.
This time, and hopefully from now on, I will be posting ideas on how to wear a given item from my wardrobe. I might not always have the whole outfit based on what I have in my closet. But the sets should serve well as indications to those who are in doubt about similar items. They serve as that to me :)
Today I will play with my palazzo pants from Mango. I have 2 pairs. One is this marvelous light pink with dark grey dots (that turned out to be rounded squares in fact).

Привет всем! Ну, перевалила я за 20 публикаций, теперь можно подумать о чем-нибудь еще, что можно показать и обсудить. У меня уже есть несколько публикаций с сетами из Polyvore  и немного о готовке и из Инстаграма. На этот раз, и надеюсь впредь, буду выставлять идеи о том, с чем носить какой-либо предмет из моего гардероба. Образ не всегда будет полностью составлен из моих вещей (кроме главного героя, конечно). Но надеюсь мои идеи послужат подсказками не только мне, но и тем у кого есть сомнения по поводу похожих предметов одежды. 
Сегодня поиграла с моими пижамными брюками от Mango. У меня две пары. Одна это вот эти чудные розовые с темно-серым горохом (оказавшийся закругленными ромбами, на самом деле).

First set is very casual, I would even call it sporty. I checked a similar one when just bought the pants. White tank, low shoes - sneakers is good enough, a summer backpack and bright contrasting accessories with a shade of boho style.

Первый образ очень простой, даже спортивный, я бы сказала. Я составила примерно такой же, когда только купила брюки. Белая майка по телу, низкая обувь - кеды как раз подойдут, летний рюкзак и яркие контрастные украшения с намеком на стиль бохо.

Next is the opposite - an elegant look with a black top and black open ankle strap pumps (I found similar ones among my grandma's shoes, repaired them and planning to wear with these exact pants). Add some accessories based on clusters of beads and pearls and a feminine bracelet watch.

Далее наоборот - элегантный образ с черной блузой и черными открытыми лодочками (похожие нашла у бабушки, починила и собираюсь носить именно с этими брюками). Добавить для женственности украшения основаные на гроздьях бусин и жемчуга и женственные часы-браслет.

Casual but feminine look with attempt to follow current trends. Same pumps as earlier, dark and pink accessories. But the risky part is the cropped top. My belly wouldn't pull it off, but as a look - it's quite a nice option. So those who have a nice flat toned up belly, bring it on :)

Поведневный, но женственный образ с претензией на следование актуальным трендам. Те же босоножки что и перед этим, черные с розовым аксессуары. А изюминка в укороченном топе. Мой животик не подойдет для такого наряда пока, но как образ - мне кажется вполне интересный вариант. Так что тем у кого плоский подтянутый живот, дерзайте! =)

Jazz at Rotonda

Hi there! Another day, another look. This one was at an open air jazz concert.  Btw, in a beautiful place in the Valley of Mills park in Chisinau - Rotonda, on top of the Cascade Stairway. The stairway has been ruined for as long as I remember myself, but apparently in the past it was a great place in the park and in the whole city.  This is how it looked in 1967 (image from OldChisinau):

Приветик! Еще один день, еще один образ. На этот раз это было на джаз концерте под открытым небом. Кстати, в красивом месте на Комсомольском Озере в Кишиневе - на Ротонде, на вершине Каскадной лестницы. Лестница была разрушена сколько себя помню, но выглядела очень красиво когда была построена. Вот фотография 1967г. (от OldChisinau):

Worth a reconstruction, huh? :) And up there you see the Rotonda. Next to it was the stage and the concert was given to promote the reconstruction of this city landmark. It was nice, but let's see what I was wearing.

Стоит усилий реконструкции, а? :) Ну и наверху видна Ротонда, и рядом стояла сцена. И концерт был дан для поддержания проэкта реконструкции. Было хорошо, но давайте посмотрим в чем я была одета.

By the way, if you ever want to take a walk in that park, the Rotonda is indicated on the map.
